Lex began producing independently in 2021, signing her first singles deal that same year with Material Music (Jess Bays, Jasper Tygner, Meg Ward, Prospa). She has since been focusing on the development of her craft, exploring tracks across the spectrum of deep house and minimal. 

In support of her artist releases, in 2024 Lex was selected by the Guildhall School of Music to train with them in the art of Mastering, in a special programme, to upskill minority artists showing professional potential.

She was also invited by Warner Music Group to take part in a new program developing production talent by enabling them to work on the developing catalogs of their artists including Pink Pantheress, Rachel Chinouriri and Anishkko.
