Monty Hasan is an Indonesian-American producer and DJ raised between Jakarta and San Diego, now based in Bali. His "Booty Groove" sound draws from deep house, jazz, Latin, disco, and soul – deep music that sets the mood without demanding attention.

With performances at Mixmag Indonesia and Keep Hush, he is regularly booked by Yves Saint Laurent and Hermès, and has shared stages with Jitwam and Jafunk. Monty is a frequent collaborator within the Jakarta & Bali music scenes; as co-founder of Bebop Bar + Kitchen, he heads Bebop Music Collective (BMC) – one of Jakarta's bridges between the local underground and the global scene.
